Six Radboud Law study programmes receive Elsevier Best Studies medal

Date of news: 1 November 2022

Based on Elsevier's 'Best Studies 2022', six Radboud Law study programmes come out on top in terms of student satisfaction. In addition, the Bachelor's programmes Law, European Law School and the Master's programme International and European Law received a medal because they "excel on several aspects compared to study programmes in the same field."

Elsevier Best Studies compares university programmes annually based on students' assessment of their programmes. It uses the results from the National Student Survey (NSE).

Study programmes ranked number 1 based on student rating

For each program, Elsevier compiled a ranking based on students' overall opinions on the eleven satisfaction questions. The Bachelor's programs in Law, Notarial Law and European Law School and the Master's programs in Tax Law, Notarial Law and International and European Law ranked first in their fields.

Study programs that score one standard deviation above the sector average on at least four of the 11 'satisfaction questions' earn a medal:

- At 4 or 5 scores above average: a bronze medal
- At 6 or 7 scores above average: a silver medal
- At 8 or more scores above average: a gold medal

The Bachelor's programme in Law and the Master's programme in International and European Law both received a bronze medal. The Bachelor's programme European Law School even received a silver medal.
