Who are we?

Direktorenhaus in Berlin is one of the leading exhibition houses for applied arts in Germany. Since 2010, the museum in the centre of the German capital, run by the Meisterrat (German Craft Council), presents selected unique pieces, limited series as well as conceptual design objects. The exhibitions focus on the latest trends in the applied arts. At the same time, the Direktorenhaus does not only show «aesthetic phenomena»: Equally important is the increased importance of design in politics and society, especially in the field of sustainable future planning.

Internship activities

You will take part in particularly exciting projects and help with
➢ Developing content creation for our future exhibitions and new topics,
➢ Press release, newsletters, editing of our website articles
➢ Book editing, publishing, and translation

Your profile

Qualifications
➢ Student of Languages, Literature Studies, Cultural Studies
➢ You speak and write German and English at a native level
➢ Additional knowledge of another foreign language would be considered a
plus
➢ Talent for creative languages and skills in interpersonal communication
➢ Flexibility, organizational skills and high motivation to demonstrate
initiative in an international team
➢ Experience in editing and publishing texts in a formal academic way
