Renovating KDC reading room
You may have seen the fabric wall on the second floor of the Central Library. But what's going on behind it?
The Catholic Documentation Center (KDC) study hall is being remodeled in the coming months. A new common reading room for heritage collections will be built here, where students and visitors can study material from the collections of the KDC, Special Collections and the University Archives.
The renovation is expected to last until the end of March 2023.
Until then, information desk KDC
Books from the reference library can be requested. The information desk of the KDC can temporarily be found in the Special Collections Reading Room, next to the large reading room on the first floor of the University Library. Students and researchers can reserve a spot in the room to avoid getting too crowded there.
