E-learning plagiarism renewed

Date of news: 16 September 2022

The University Library has renewed its interactive plagiarism module. By means of questions and short texts, students learn how to prevent plagiarism. The module is accessible to everyone and can be found on the e-learning page of the University Library.

Many students do not know exactly when they commit plagiarism. Is it okay to cite literally? What about pictures from the internet? It's all covered in the interactive module that you go through at your own pace. It also contains additional information and links to the examination regulations.

Lecturers are free to put a direct link in BrightSpace. The module is available in Dutch as well as in English. Do you prefer a custom-made workshop or presentation on plagiarism? Don’t hesitate to contact the information specialists of your faculty.

In addition to this module, the University Library offers more e-learning, for example about Google, literature search (basic), APA and PubMed. You can find them all on the e-learning page.
