Mandatory study literature as e-book

If possible, the Library of Science also purchases an e-book copy of mandatory  or recommended literature. These e-books are arranged by study in this guide. Teachers can link to the books in their study materials by means of the URL provided so that students can also view or download them at home.

E-books are behind a paywall. This means an off-campus employee or student can only use them if they are logged in. You can achieve this by putting a proxy link in front of it. Then a login screen will appear. In this way, everyone at Radboud University with the RU login can also access our subscriptions outside campus.

A proxy link is easily created. Put this link: https://ru.idm.oclc.org/login?url= in front of the URL you want to share. For example, a proxylink to this book: https://doi.org/10.1093/acprof:oso/9780195316957.001.0001 will be: https://ru.idm.oclc.org/login?url=https://doi.org/10.1093/acprof:oso/9780195316957.001.0001

In this Study Guide E-literature, the proxy links are already included with each book. Teachers can copy this link in their teaching materials. Students can click on the book's link to download or view it, whether at home or on campus.
