Scientific Advisory Committee

The Scientific Advisory Committee advises the dean upon request or provides advice on its own initiative via the vice-dean of research about how research policy is carried out. The committee is requested to provide advice concerning the scientific policy as it has been set out by the dean and vice-dean of research and it is to evaluate applications which have been submitted concerning projects. The latter involves all of the doctorate candidate research projects and post-doctorate candidate research projects that are funded by 1st, 2nd and 3rd flows of money.

The Scientific Advisory Committee consists of members from the academic staff. When forming the committee, an even distribution is sought regarding the different fields of research focus within the faculty.
