NSM Focus | Het Verantwoordelijke Bedrijf on tour
The Nijmegen School of Management, along with the engineering firm Qing, is organising Het Verantwoordelijke Bedrijf (the responsible company) on tour. Every four months, a business visit will be organised during which exchanges of knowledge and experience on sustainable enterprise and production will take place using concrete practical examples.
In response to a concrete business question, the participants will receive information on governmental grants and legislation and the faculty will provide scientific insights into the field of corporate responsibility. Practical information and a tour of the business will provide the participants with a better perspective of the concrete issue. Participants will be challenged to actively brainstorm and contribute with advice on ways in which the business can operate more sustainably and more responsibly.
The first meeting was held on 20 June at Dijkstra Plastics in Haaksbergen. The next meeting is scheduled for Thursday 29 November at Paperfoam in Barneveld. The question that will be discussed at that meeting is how the operational processes can remain sustainable and how growth can be achieved in a socially responsible manner.
As an alumnus, would you like to participate in the next meeting? You can register via this website. This website also features a look back at the first meeting.
