The IMR Academy is a platform for all researchers of the Institute for Management Research to discuss developments in academia, share knowledge and expertise, and create an inspiring community. The head of the IMR Academy is Mark Wiering, Associate Professor at the Geography, Planning and Environment Department. The Academy offers a programme of activities, like regular seminars on topics that are of interest to all researchers alike, such as scientific integrity, data management and career development. For previous seminars, please look here.
Furthermore, the Academy coordinates the events calendar, which is hosted on this website and shared by email, listing all the seminars and workshops organized by members of the faculty and the Hot Spots. Finally, the IMR Academy organizes the annual IMR Research Day, which is often combined with the IMR PhD Day organized by the Doctoral School. Researchers and Hot Spots can present their work, or attend presentations by colleagues or guest speakers.
