Research Code of Conduct
Accountability and responsibility are essential for academic integrity. The Dutch code of conduct for academic and scientific practice was compiled at the request of the Association of Universities in the Netherlands (VSNU).The code of conduct was prompted by a widely shared conviction that institutions that have a social role and their staff have an obligation to perform their functions correctly. It has been in effect since 1 January 2005.
