Christine Mohrmann grant awarded to Indra Römgens
On Monday 28 March the Radboud University will award ten promising female researchers with the Christine Mohrmann grant. Indra Römgens of the Department of Political Science is one of the laureates.
Indra will use the grant to co-organise an international and interdisciplinary conference on EU tax policy that will serve as a founding base for a lasting network of tax scholars. Building bridges between academic disciplines of political science, law and economics, the conference should also provide an excellent opportunity for young scholars to present and develop their work. As such, the conference aims to advance the scientific field and to promote public debate.
The stipend aims to encourage female PhD students to pursue a career in science after they have finished their dissertations. The grant involves a sum of € 5,000. The award ceremony takes place in the Aula at 3.30 pm.
