In the new book “Transforming Biodiversity Governance” Ingrid Visseren-Hamakers examines fifty years of global sustainability policy, together with co-editor Marcel Kok
Ingrid Visseren-Hamakers spoke in the radio program Nieuws & Co about the Stockholm +50 conference, where the global community reflects on fifty years of global sustainability policy (replay here: https://bit.ly/3tjOAeU, from 44:30). In the new book “Transforming Biodiversity Governance” Ingrid examines these questions together with Marcel Kok (program leader of international biodiversity policy, Netherlands Environmental Assessment Agency).
Ingrid: “It is time we make a choice and put social and environmental issues at the heart of all our policies, instead of economic development. Because an economy is possible within the boundaries of our planet and while ensuring everyone’s needs are met”.
The book is published open access, and can be found here: https://bit.ly/3zJvym6.
