Where some students have become less enterprising during the Covid-19 pandemic, Koen Smeets has only started doing more.

Junior lecturer Economic theory and Policy Robbert Rademakers is the winner of the University Teaching Prize for Talent 2020.

This year, economists Joris Knoben and Utz Weitzel are once again included in the list of economists with the best publishing record, which is published annually by economic trade magazine and communication platform ESB (Economisch Statistische Berichten) [Economic Statistical Reports].

André van Hoorn, together with Sjoerd Beugelsdijk and Robbert Maseland, has won the Global Strategy Journal 2020 Best Paper Prize. The prize was awarded to the paper: “Are scores on Hofstede's dimensions of national culture stable over time? A cohort analysis. ” The paper uses cohort analysis to determine whether country scores on the famous Hofstede dimensions are stable or not. Results show that cultural scores of countries can change over time, but that differences between countries remain relatively stable.
