Research Day 2023 IMR Academy & Doctoral School

The IMR Academy and the Doctoral School are very excited to announce the programme of the Annual Research Day at our Faculty on Wednesday 14 June 2023 (all day event).

The theme of the programme is ‘Responsible Governance’. The keynote presentation, named 'The Inclusive State', will be given by Christopher Ansell, Professor of Political Science, University of California, Berkeley. Ansell is famous for his work on collaborative governance (with Alison Gash). He currently studies collaborative modes of governance, with a focus on collective problem-solving, democracy and sustainability. He also conducts research on the politics and management of risk and has an ongoing interest in public health, environmental policy and crisis management. An example of this is the Covid-19 pandemic as a game changer for public administration and leadership. His work is inspired by the philosophy of Pragmatism.

Next to this, our PhD researchers will present their work and you can again attend workshops on a variety of topics. We hope to see you all at this faculty-wide event!
