Collaborative Associations of Management Sciences
All study associations within the Nijmegen School of Management take part in the SVM, which is the collaborative association for the management sciences. The different associations BOW (Public Administration), ESV (Economics and Business Economics and International Economics and Business), Ismus (Political Science), Mundus (Geography, Spatial Planning and Environment) and Synergy (Business Administration and International Business Administration) meet up every month to organise a variety of activities.
The SVM organises the the annual Sports day and various activities during the Orientation of the faculty. Besides this, the SVM also has a representative in the Faculty Student Council. Every two months the SVM organises the 'Management Madness party'.
In the context of internationalisation the Nijmegen School of Management and the International Mobility Office started a collaboration to create a buddy programme. The purpose of this is to get the international and the Dutch students in touch so the Dutch students can show them the university as well as the city of Nijmegen. If you want to know more about the buddy programme, you can visit the website. For exchange students who are staying a semester in the Netherlands the SVM organises an excursion to Amsterdam each year. During this excursion the exchange students will discover Amsterdam and end the day with a drink.
The committee of internationalisation of the SVM also organises various activities for Dutch and international students.
