Internship (12EC)

An internship is not a mandatory part of the Bachelor’s programme. It does however give you the opportunity to orient yourself to the future professional field and become familiar with the working environment. You have the possibility to replace 2 elective courses of 6 EC with an internship. This can be either a research internship or an applied internship.

In order to get EC for the internship, prior permission from the Board of Examiners is needed. Make sure you carefully read the internship regulations or contact the Business Administration Internship Service (BIS) for more information.

You can also choose to do an internship without earning EC, which doesn’t require permission from the university nor an internship plan or report.

Please note: International Business Administration (IBA) has some extra conditions for receiving credits.
