Minors offered at NSM

The Nijmegen School of Management has a separate prospectus for English-taught minors.

Most minors at the Nijmegen School of Management are worth 24 EC and have been adapted to the elective space in the Bachelor’s programme.

Within the Nijmegen School of Management several minors are offered.

Minors offered by the Economics and Business Economics department

The department of Economics and Business Economics offers three minors which are worth 24 EC:

  • Accounting
  • Economics & Policy
  • Finance

Students that already have some of the minor courses as mandatory courses in their bachelor programme, need to take alternative minor courses in order to complete the minor. You can find these courses when clicking on the specific minor in the minor guide or you can contact the study advisor for more information.

Minors offered by the Public Administration department

The department of Public Administration offers a minor in the first semester and second semester. These minors are both worth 30 EC and consist of courses that are part of the first and second semester of the pre-master’s programme in Public Administration.

You furthermore have the possibility to create a personal minor of 24 EC, based on your interests and prior knowledge.

Please be aware that the majority of courses offered by the Public Administration department are taught in Dutch.

Minors offered by the Political Science department

The department of Political Science offers the following four minors which are worth 24 EC:

  • Vergelijkende Politicologie
  • Politieke Filosofie
  • Internationale Betrekkingen
  • Europese Integratie

Please be aware that these minors are taught in Dutch.

Minors offered by the department of Geography, Planning and Environment

The department of Geography, Planning and Environment offers the following three minors which are worth 23-24 EC:

  • Minor On the move: Mobiliteit, migratie en grenzen
  • Minor Ondernemerschap, innovatie en stedelijke ontwikkeling (i.s.m. Bedrijfskunde)
  • Minor Sustainability Challenges

Please be aware that some of these minors are taught in Dutch.

Minors offered by the CICAM

The Centre for International Conflict Analysis & Management (CICAM) offers the Minor Conflicstudies which is worth 24 EC.
