What we do

The Radboud Network of Women Professors is a platform with following goals with regard to Radboud University, discussed in quarterly meetings:

• exchange of experiences and give mutual support;
• introduction of new female professors;
• representing the interests of female staff at Radboud University;
• monitoring progress of equality policies and targets;
• stimulating diversity and inclusion in a broad sense;
• drawing attention to how gender discrimination intersects with other forms of discrimination (in particular on grounds of ethnicity, religion and disability);
• providing advice to the Executive Board and the Deans;
• proposing suitable female candidates to fill vacancies and to staff committees, steering groups, etc.;
• identifying gender-based discrimination (in connection with other forms of discrimination where appropriate) and measures that encourage unequal treatment.
