Husserl’s Idea of Phenomenology
Phenomenology is one of the most influential philosophical currents of the twentieth century. The course will introduce you into phenomenology by means of a detailed analysis of Edmund Husserl’s lectures on The Idea of Phenomenology. We will concentrate our attention on the following questions:
(1) What is phenomenology? (2) How does phenomenology analyse philosophical problems? (3) What are the key themes of phenomenology? (4) What are the specific concept and theoretical frameworks that define the phenomenological approach to philosophical problems?
During our course, we will also perform concrete phenomenological analyses. |
