Introduction to the History of the Orthodox Church
This course provides an introduction to the history of Orthodox Christianity in all its diversity. It presents a sweeping overview of the history of Orthodox Christianity, while focusing on the main historical events that left a mark, not only in Eastern Christianity, but in Western Christianity as well. The history of Christianity in the various geographical regions of the Middle East, Africa, Asia Minor, India, Eastern Europe, and to a limited extent Western Europe, is also in the focus of this course.
