Inhoud

An introduction to contemporary debates and topics in Christian Doctrine
In a post-secular society, the content of the Christian faith is under pressure. Some theologians are very critical at the current time. Others prefer to adjust their faith in light of these pressures. What is the relevance of Christian doctrine today? How can theology critically and constructively contribute to the debates in society? To begin to answer these questions, the role of the practices and ideas of the Catholic tradition receives special attention in order to gain a better understanding of contemporary debates in Systematic Theology.
