An Introduction to Christian Thinkers
How have Christian theologians approached their faith throughout the ages? Do they all agree or do they present their faith differently than their predecessors? How are theologians supposed to understand the place of faith in contemporary society?
In this class, students will be introduced to various theological frameworks and thinkers who have rearticulated the enduring insights and compassionate values that have developed throughout the history of the Christian faith for a contemporary audience. This class will approach Dogmatics through the eyes of several important Christian theologians from different historical periods and cultural contexts, to gain the necessary tools to systematically evaluate the importance of theology in public life. |
