Content
In this course students acquaint themselves with a number of ongoing digital humanities projects and learn how to set up their own research project using appropriate digital tools. How does one design such a project? How do the different research stages relate to one another? What data is needed for which type of question? Which (technical) skills are required, and what kinds of collaboration? How can we interpret data harvested through ‘distant’ methods? What kind of generalizations does such data warrant?
