At the end of the course, the student can give oral presentations in English about business, social and cultural topics. The student will also be able to hold conversations in English about these topics.
Additionally, the student can write different short and longer English texts about business, social and cultural topics. The student can correctly apply the APA referencing system in acknowledging sources in written reports, and can avoid plagiarism by quoting from, paraphrasing, or summarizing sources.
In all oral and written products, the student uses English at B2 level that is lexically and grammatically correct, reasonably coherent and without too many pronunciation errors.

As an IBC English graduate, you will be expected to be able to communicate adequately in English, in a professional context, about a variety of business topics using different forms of oral and written communication. In this course, you will practise your oral and written skills in English by speaking and writing about business topics as well as social and cultural topics. In addition, you will also work on improving your English pronunciation. |
