At the end of the course, you will know the most important rules of Spanish grammar, particularly with regard to (irregular) verbs and verb tenses, and can apply this knowledge in practice. Additionally, you are aware of some important pronunciation features of Spanish that can be problematic for learners of Spanish as a foreign language and can apply this knowledge in practice. Finally, you will have acquired a basic Spanish vocabulary, including the most frequent business-related concepts. These objectives correspond to the A2 level of the European framework (CEFR). |

This course introduces students to the basics of Spanish grammar, pronunciation, and vocabulary so as to enable them to successfully complete the oral and written tasks in the course ‘International markets Spanish: el mercado español’. Students will acquire knowledge of and insights into the most important aspects of Spanish grammar and Spanish pronunciation. Students practise their pronunciation by listening to and repeating practice sentences. Students complete weekly grammar and vocabulary exercises assignments related to the course content.
