Aims
There are two types of learning objectives: objectives relating to communication skills and objectives relating to content (socio-cultural and entrepreneurial themes).
Objectives relating to skills:
At the end of the course, you will be able to formulate your opinions, defend your point of view, participate in business meetings about an international alliance, and formulate communication advice at A2 level in organisational contexts.
At the end of the course you can establish and maintain contact with Spanish business partners and inform your partners in a professional manner.
Objectives relating to content:
At the end of the course, you will have gained knowledge of and insights into important aspects in describing organizations and products.
Throughout this course, you will develop your oral and written Spanish proficiency at A2/B1 level and your listening skills at A2/B1 level. In addition, you acquire more knowledge of the form and content of communication in business contexts.
Content
This course is a follow-up to International markets Spanish: El mercado español. The course has three overarching themes: an exploration of the Spanish market for the launch of a foreign product, setting up a joint venture between a foreign and a Spanish company, and conducting a market exploration in Spain for a foreign company. The focus will be on formal oral and written ‘business-to-business’ communication.
