Aims
This course introduces students to the concept of Human Resource Management in an international setting and also examines how to successfully plan a marketing campaign in a foreign market. On completion of the course, students should be able to plan and present a marketing strategy and to fully understand the steps in the job finding process. Students will have the opportunity to analyze their own competencies and gain confidence in their ability to work in a foreign market.
Content
Following on from the course International Entrepreneurship, students will have the opportunity to gain insight into a number of external issues that will influence the success of their company. They will demonstrate their understanding of the human resource function by producing job adverts, job descriptions and person specifications, analyzing covering letters and CV’S, taking part in an interview simulation and will give a workshop to a specific target group which shows their understanding of strategic HRM in working organizations.
