Aims
At the end of the course the student is able to critically assess scientific literature in the area of non-nativeness in international business communication, he / she can apply his / her knowledge of non-nativeness in the design and execution of an experimental research study into the effect of non-nativeness in French on the recipient of a message, and he / she can analyse the results of this study and report on it in French at B2 / C1 level.

Content

In this course, we investigate which language mode works best in finding 10 differences together online as quickly as possible on the basis of linguistic and communicative-strategic analyses of CHAT-interactions between native and non-native speakers of French. We analyse, for example, the use of English by French speakers (the so-called Franglais). On the basis of different research methods, the student will write an individual research paper in French.
