English is the lingua franca in international organizations, the business community, and in the academic world. This course aims to optimize the level of English of IBC students at the end of the Bachelor programme, and to prepare them for a certified English test (such as CAE and CPE), which, increasingly, is a job requirement. These recognized tests certify the language level of a candidate with regard to the four skills: reading, listening, writing and speaking skills. In this course, the student practises these skills in a variety of individual assignments (including 'business cases') to optimize his / her level of English (CEFR range: advanced user). The focus in this course is on both academic and business English, and on productive skills (speaking and writing), as these are the skills that students will need most in their future positions.
