Aims
The MA thesis is the culmination of your degree programme. The CIS programme is academic, with strong links to practice. Your thesis should demonstrate that you can independently apply the knowledge, insights and skills acquired in your MA programme to answer a research question that is relevant within the context of your specialization (C&B or IBC). Your thesis should reflect your ability to independently conduct theory-driven research, aimed at answering a research question or testing a hypothesis that follows from a critical consideration and discussion of relevant scientific literature. It should also consider the academic relevance and implications of your research and its findings. For your thesis, you should choose a topic or theme that is in line with the research being conducted within the MA specialization you are following (C&B or IBC).
