The Mentoring Programme has two main objectives. The first is to familiarise new students with the BA programme and the academic world as a whole. The Mentoring Programme offers the support of a mentor group, which consists of first year students, a student mentor and a teacher mentor who can help you understand what is expected of you in terms of commitment and what your BA programme has to offer. The second is to identify problems at an early stage and give you the chance to discuss and resolve these.

If you have questions or problems, the first person you should contact are your mentors (student mentor and teacher mentor). They can then refer you to the student advisor, if necessary. The programme consists of eight contact moments throughout the first year:
- group meetings (mentor sessions)
- individual meetings (student and mentors)
- plenary meetings (cohort)
