The individual Research Training course can be fully tailored to the student’s specifications in consultation with the tutor. The course consists of a research internship and/or specialised courses taken at a university or institute abroad. In certain exceptional cases this track can also be followed in the Netherlands. 

The proposal must be submitted to the secretary of the relevant research master before 15 May of the new academic year and will then be assessed by the Board of Examiners.

The proposal must contain the following information:

• name of the course/internship;
• internship/course load (in ECTS);
• description and list of requirements to be met;
• university or institute where the course/internship is offered;
• name of the authorised individual and the evaluator;
•  consent from your tutor.
