At the end of this course, students will be able:

This course aims to put everything students already know about public administration in an international perspective. Thematically, the course will address important topics such as the lasting impact of colonialization on public administrations, the way the public sector is organized in different countries and the developments therein, the position of public officials and the role of leadership in different countries, the severity of corruption and lack of integrity from an international perspective, decision-making strategies in the 4IR, and varying policies regarding migration.
Every week, there will be two lectures for two hours each. The students have to prepare for these lectures by reading a chapter, articles on the subject, and/or reports from international organizations.
Grading will take place through a written examination.
