At the end of the course students are able to:
- apply basic and advanced methodological and statistical analysis techniques on research problems in the field of Business Administration, in part by means of doing SPSS analyses yourself;
- adequately interpret and report basic and advanced elements of quantitative research methods and research results;
- adequately substantiate the choices and interpretations when applying methodological and statistical analysis techniques and interpreting results;
- it concerns the following topics: research designs, problem formulation, questionnaire design, missing data analysis, factor analysis, reliability analysis, multivariate analysis of variance and multivariate regression analysis, including moderation, mediation and logistic regression.
In each week the following educational activities take place: -a lecture addressing theory and background, -a tutorial discussing an example case, -making an assignment in the students’ own time, -a tutorial in which the subject matter and the assignment are addressed.
The examination comprises all topics discussed during the course (including the example cases and the assignments).
