Content

The course consists of a general introduction to the Netherlands (Holland). It covers the main features of Dutch history, society, culture and politics. In order to provide a general impression of the Low Countries, the Netherlands is compared with Belgium in a number of respects.

Level

Presumed foreknowledge
The course is offered twice a year, in Block 1 and Block 4. Exchange students at other faculties of Radboud University Nijmegen who are interested in the history, politics and culture of the Netherlands are also welcome to participate.The course is NOT open to Dutch students.
