Students will

• Be able to independently formulate a relevant, clear and specific problem statement, research objectives and research question(s)
• Be capable of producing a theoretically sound literature study, demonstrating analytical, synthetic and critical academic problem-solving and is capable of integrating the literature in a coherent argument referring to the research question
• Be able to select a relevant and feasible research method
• Be able to implement the selected research method appropriately
• Demonstrate sound critical judgement and reflective assessment and is capable of creative and personal argumentation
• Be able to communicate concisely and academically the essence of the thesis
• Be able to argue in a well-founded manner and to convincingly answer questions

Students write a Master's thesis under the supervision of a member of the teaching staff in their specialisation.
Students defend their thesis before a panel consisting of the supervisor and the 'second reader'.
