The goal of this the course Neural Basis of Cognition and Perception is to provide an insight into the basic neural processes that underly cognition (e.g. memory, attention, decision-making, etc) and perception (e.g visual, auditory, somatosensory, vestibular systems) |

The course consists of lectures, response lectures, computer practical, demonstrations, writing an essay, selfstudy and presentations.
The content of the course is based on the book Kandel "Principles of Neural Science" (edition 5), on the chapters 15-32 and chapter 40
