In this course ‘Methods in Societal Research’ you, a student of the Science, Management & Innovation master specialization, will be introduced to the basics of research methodology in the social sciences to prepare you for your master research project. More specifically, during this course:
- You will gain knowledge on the philosophy of science, including paradigmatic foundations and how they shape your research design
- You will gain knowledge on two different social sciences methodologies: quantitative and qualitative research
- You will gain knowledge on how to do qualitative research in an organizational setting
- You will gain knowledge on academic skills
