Aims
  • programming new devices (ranging from IoT to VR)
  • master communication with these new devices (WiFi, Bluetooth)
  • design and implement a project with new devices (using creativity and new technologies)
  • reporting about the project
Content
In a small group you make a small fixed assignment to master the basic skills of using new IoT devices. The main part of this course is designing and implementing a project of your own choice within a small group.

Test information
You will give several presentations about your project and produce a report about it. You will be judged based on the quality of the product, the report and the presentations.
Specifics

Please take note of the following:

  • This course will take place on campus. Due to the practical nature of this course, attendance is obligatory; you cannot take this course online. You must be willing and able to attend 8 hours of project work on campus.
  • Registration is only open for bachelor students Computing Science doing the full Bachelor programme and at least the specialisation Software Science. Registration will close on August 14th. The number of places is limited.
  • You can register for a group according to the times as mentioned in the schedule. If the group of your preference is full, you will be put on the waiting list.
  • Whenever necessary priority rules apply; students for whom this course is mandatory and who need the course to finalize their bachelor have first access. Priority will not be granted when you do not apply in time.
  • This course is NOT open to Exchange students.
