- You can, like an academic on the level of a BA student, reflect on your academic attitude, so that you can largely steer your academic development and learning process in a follow-up study;
- You can substantiate how different types of professions within your field suit you or not, so that you can further orientate yourself in your MA study on a suitable continuation.

Students will collect certain information during the bachelor's program as part of their portfolio which is used to mark general academic skills that are covered in the bachelor's program or are integrated in other courses.
In the first year, the portfolio is linked to the mentorship, where each student, together with a few others, is linked to a teacher mentor with whom regular appointments are made. At these meetings, attention will be paid to general aspects regarding study skills (gaining insight into one's own study behavior and being able to adjust this if necessary to study more efficiently) but also to more substantive, education-related aspects (for example, rules and regulations, or how to deal with assignments you struggle with). In this context, assignments will also be given for the portfolio.

At the end of the bachelor phase several components need to be finished (e.g., mentor meetings, reflection reports, lunch lectures, bachelor thesis attendance, company orientations, etc.) These products are delivered during the bachelor period and need to be present at the end of each academic year to which these belong. More time consuming replacement assignments are available in case a student does not complete these assignment in time.

In the first month of your study, a lecture will be organized about this 'course', in which an explanation is given on its content and structure.
