Content
The Research Seminar is a project and not a regular course. The overall intention is to simulate a research institute on a small scale. The Research Seminar offers the student a context for experiential learning of research related tasks. The focus is on learning through doing. This means that the student works in a project environment, in which the student must take the initiative to search for relevant material (for example literature or other input).

The Research Seminar Software Science is intended to provide students with the opportunity to develop or further refine the skills of writing, reading, and evaluating (reviewing) research papers in the area of Software Science. The course is a required component of the Software Science specialisation. Every student in the class will also act as the supervisor of the research activities of another student. Furthermore, students have to give oral presentations about their results.
