Content

Basic mathematics course for Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence, covering topics from linear algebra.

• systems of linear equations, their solutions and Gauss-Jordan-elimination
• solutions of (non)homogeneous equations,
• (in)dependence of vectors
• basis of vector space, linear maps and matrices, kernel and image
• products and inverses of matrices; determinant
• Basis transformations; eigenvalues and eigenvectors, Markov chains
• Geometrical interpretaion of vectors, length, angle and inner product
• Gram-Schmidt procedure and projections.
