      After this course you can  integrate functions in one variable by means of substitution, partial integration and partial fractions
 investigate aspects of curves in dimension 2 and 3 by parametrisation, differentiation and integration
 understand and apply integration techniques for dimension 2 and 3
 perform calculations with polar and spherical coordinates


Mathematics 2 comprises Integral Calculus in one or more variables.

Only an exam. This course is available for a final resit for students of previous years. Final resit coincides with the exam of MOL009A in the third quarter. Premaster students Chemistry for Life follow the lectures that are scheduled for MOL009A Mathematics 23 and register for the exam of MOL009 Mathematics 2.
