At the end of this course, the student will be able to
- develop and test original new computer programs to solve basic problems in a scientific context.
- use the basic elements of a computer language, such as data types, scripts, functions, loops, etc.
- know how to apply Matlab to acquire data, analyse results, prepare graphical representations and develop model calculations to test theories in future scientific research.
