Aims
After this lab course, the student is able to:
- independently plan advanced multi-step syntheses
- independently and safely carry out multi-step synthesis
- carefully report the experimental results in English
Content
The goal of this lab class is to learn to work as a researcher. You will be carrying out multi-step syntheses. You will work independently in the lab, you will also be responsible yourself to plan and to carry out all the required work. The skills that you will develop during the class will be necessary for a bachelor or master internship in the chemistry cluster.

• Organic Chemistry, Paula Bruice (Pearson, 6th or newer ed.)
• Mohrig, Alberg, Hofmeister, Schatz, Hammond. Laboratory techniques in Organic Chemistry. 4th edition.
• Syllabus

Teaching formats
• 10 days of 6 hours laboratory course

You will need to register for this course at least 1 month in advance. Maximum capacity: 18 participants.
