Aims
  • Students can critically assimilate and present scientific articles and ideas
  • Students get experience in presenting material orally in front of an audience
  • Students give feedback on presentations
  • Students broaden their knowledge about scientific research outside their own field
Content
Each class starts with a student giving a seminar on a chosen topic with a duration of 20-30 min. Following the presentation, the other students in the class ask questions and give feedback on the style and contents of the presentation. The instructors may also provide comments.

Mandatory for students in the master track Physics of Molecules and Materials. Enter in autumn

Test information
Students are awarded a pass/fail grade. The requirements for passing the course are (1) giving a satisfactory presentation and (2) attending and giving feedback to the presentations of the other students.
