After following this course, you:
1. Can explain the reciprocal relations between physical activity and employee well-being;
2. Can explain the possible motivational impact of work on exercise behavior;
3. Can present an overview of occupational risks such as physical overload and sedentary behavior and their consequences for health and work performance;
4. Can use various diagnostic instruments and explain to what extent exercise or other protocols can be used as a therapy in case of exhaustion or burnout;
5. Can discuss and recommend organizational health-related interventions in various settings to improve work and health behavior of employees;
6. Can discuss and recommend person-oriented health-related interventions in various settings to improve work and health behavior of employees (e.g., using mindfulness);
7. Attain experience with (motivational) coaching skills and learn to apply coaching techniques that are relevant in sport and work settings;
8. Can identify different professions of Work & Health psychologists and their work content;
9. Will acquire skills and experience in working with various methods that are important for the different professions of Work & Health psychologists.

The Work, Sport & Health course is developed for students who follow the Master specialization Work, Organization, and Health. The course provides an overview of theories and research in the field of work, sport and health. Moreover, it dives into specific practical applications to give you hands-on experience. The course consists of interactive meetings that combine theoretical lectures with practical assignments.
