At the end of the course, the student can:    
  1. Demonstrate basic knowledge of normative conceptual frameworks as they are developed in contemporary empirically informed ethics (4,8,9)
  2. Adequately summarise the theoretical positions from the course literature (8)
  3. Argue in a systematic and coherent way for a view of his/her own regarding these positions (4,8,9)
Content
In The Good Life we read some contemporary sources that seek to achieve the promising cross-fertlization of ethics and psychology that characterizes so-called empirically informed ethics. We discuss key ideas from these sources.
