This project has two central goals: a contents wise -theoretical- goal and a methodological goal.
The theoretical goal is:
- after completion of this course the students have gained knowledge and more insight about the two discussed perspectives of the concept sustainable entrepreneurship, and they can apply one of those two perspectives in an empirical research plan.
The methodological goal entails:
- after completion students can write a research plan, in which the consequences of the choice for a certain form of research in relation to the goal, operationalization and way of data collection and processing of the data will be described in a consistent and clear way.

Project: Responsible Organising 1 course offers an overview of theories and concepts in the fields of sustainable entrepreneurship, as to make sense of how organisations do entrepreneurship in a sustainable manner. Three important perspectives in this field are presented: 1) diversity issues and sustainable entrepreneurship 2) ethical issues and sustainable entrepreneurship 3) environmental issues and sustainable entrepreneurship. Also the topic of social entrepreneurship will be touched upon. During the course, the participating students will apply these theories (in teams) to and integrate them with methodological knowledge in a research plan, and will also apply this in an individual assignment.
