My research focuses on creativity in young children. My PhD project investigated the process of divergent thinking (DT) and its development throughout the preschool years, and the findings revealed both top-down, executive thinking processes and bottom-up, associative thinking processes contributed to the generation of original ideas but at different time stages. Currently I focus my research on the social origins of creativity and the (dis)similarities between human- and AI-creativity.
