Claudia Balan is a PhD candidate in the Gender and Diversity Department at Radboud Social Cultural Research. Her PhD project deals with the role of formal and informal institutional actors in promoting father-friendliness in work organization. The primary focus of the project lies on the analysis of how change agents challenge the organizational norm of the ideal worker and gendered normative assumptions about care from fathers’ perspectives.
She received her Master of Arts degree in Social Sciences at the Heinrich Heine University, Düsseldorf, Germany.
